Day tours
Chiang Rai 7 Highlights, Trekking 1 Day, Trekking 2 Days 1 Night day departures, Private Set 1, 2 and 3, Private Taxi Tour, and bespoke day trips.
You pay your guide or driver on the day, in cash or by transfer. So if your plans change, a cancellation costs you nothing at all.
- More than 24 hours before pickup — cancel freely, no charge. A short message is all we need.
- Less than 24 hours before pickup — please still tell us. Your guide and vehicle are already reserved for you, and a quick message lets us offer the seat to someone else.
Being ready for pickup
How pickup works depends on whether your tour is shared or private.

Pickup is a time window, not a single minute — 08:00–08:30 for the 7 Highlights tour and 09:00–09:30 for trekking. We collect several hotels one after another, so please be in your lobby from the start of the window and wait until we arrive. We cannot hold the whole group for one hotel. |

Your vehicle comes at the exact time you agreed with us. If you are not there we wait 10 minutes and try to reach you. After that the driver has to move on to keep the rest of your day on schedule, and the booking is treated as cancelled. |
Multi-day tours
Chiang Rai → Chiang Mai 2 Days 1 Night, Chiang Rai Trek & Temples 2 Days 1 Night, the 3-Day Chiang Rai Private Tour, and the 6-Day Grand North.
These need rooms booked and paid before you arrive, so we ask for a deposit to hold your dates:
If the rooms for your trip cost more than 30%, the deposit is the real room cost — never more. We are happy to show you the accommodation invoice at any time. The balance is paid during the tour.

Your money is protected
JTTT Travel Thailand is licensed by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT Licence 21/01119) as a general tour operator. Under Thai law that licence requires us to lodge a security bond of ฿200,000 with the Department of Tourism, held specifically to compensate travellers if we fail to deliver a tour we have been paid for.
If we cancel
If JTTT Travel cancels — weather or road conditions that make the day unsafe, a vehicle problem, or anything else on our side — you choose: a full refund of everything you have paid, or a free move to another date. This applies however close to departure it happens.
If the weather turns during a tour we will change the route rather than cut your day short, and we will tell you honestly when a highlight is not worth the drive that day.

We reply within one hour between 07:00 and 21:00 Thailand time (GMT+7). Where a refund is due it goes back by the same method you paid, within 14 days.
Prices and what is included
All prices are shown in Thai baht and include everything listed on the tour page — hotel pickup, vehicle, driver and English-speaking guide, plus entrance fees, meals and accommodation where the page says so. Anything not listed is not included.
